Before You Turn The Page, Look Back

Welcome to BW Missions

The end of the year always brings about that feeling of closing down, turning the page to a new beginning, and freshness to redefine. But, the end of the year also brings about a time to look at your life deeply, and ask yourself, “What is important to me, and am I choosing intentionally and picking behaviors that allow me to be the person I want to become?”

I know for me, when I look back on my life, I don’t want to have any big regrets over the life decisions I made. Sure, small little decisions (one’s for me that are generally impulsive) I’d like to take back, but I want to leave it all on the metaphorical field and know I squeezed every ounce of juice out of this thing called life.

In the movie Dead Poets Society, Robin Williams asks his students, “What will your verse be?”

My hope for everyone here reading (and watching) is that they are authentically crafting their voice — their sense of self — in the most sincere way possible. And if you are not, I hope 2021 brings upon a deeper reckoning and conviction that inspires you to pursue the path you are meant to travel down.

Thank you everyone for reading my diatribes the past year. I hope my stories have been connective, meaningful, and ultimately human, and have helped you stand out and belong in this world on your own terms.

See you in January – we’re launching something pretty cool…
